Our Story
Where It All Began
Nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley, New Brighton Distillery traces its roots back to a time-honored tradition of craftsmanship and dedication to quality. It all began on our hazelnut farm where passion met precision, as our founders sought to create a distinct small-batch whiskey that embodies the rich, local heritage of the region.
Drawing inspiration from the lush landscapes and pristine waters surrounding us, each batch reflects a commitment to using the finest ingredients and time-honored techniques. As we continue to grow, our history remains a testament to the artistry behind every bottle, celebrating both our origins and our unwavering mission to craft exceptional spirits.
Our Distillery
New Brighton Distillery is a small craft distillery in Oregon’s beautiful wine country. Nestled in the valley below the Eola-Amity hills, the rich farmland of the Willamette Valley nourishes the corn, wheat, rye, and other grains that we distill into fine spirits. The copper for our 150-gallon pot still was mined in Hungary, purified in Germany, and then shipped to North America where it was crafted into a vessel that transforms the essence of our local grains into our fine spirits.
